ASRY Hosts Bapco Energies HSSE Committee Meeting

The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) hosted the regular Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Committee meeting for Bapco Energies Group companies last month, bringing together heads and representatives from relevant departments across the participating firms.

The meeting addressed several topics focused on strengthening health and safety standards, reviewing adopted best practices, and following up on joint initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, thereby supporting a safe and sustainable working environment.

It also stressed the importance of ongoing coordination and integration among participating companies, promoting the exchange of expertise, adherence to the highest international standards, and the establishment of a strong culture of health, safety, and sustainability across the Group.

In this context, Mahmood Abdulaziz, ASRY’s HSSE Manager, said: ‘These regular meetings provide a practical platform to discuss shared challenges and unify efforts across health, safety, security, and the environment. During the meeting, we reviewed a range of practical initiatives aimed at improving compliance, enhancing operational performance, and strengthening preparedness and risk response across various work sites.
